Kenya’s Revenge is the second part of The Un-Marritable. This book will take you beyond the measures of love. This book is a mystery drama with a lot of suspense. In order to know you will have to go purchase the book. It should be ready by late summer. I truly hope you are ready for this banger.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

I follow my spirit and my characters. If there is a new city my character is taking me to and I’ve never been there physically; I will either visit the city for myself, or do plenty of research. I never write blindly. The point of writing is making the reader feel each and every word, as they jump off the paper.

What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?

The one thing I’ve learned along this journey is that I have to go where my characters are taking me, or the story doesn’t come out right. For some reason they don’t like my path.

Do you have any suggestions to help others become a better writer? If so, what are they?

Always stay true to yourself. There is no right or wrong way to writing, but your work must be edited. Don’t be above taking constructive criticism. Make sure you do your research before choosing a company to work for. Every company is not for you, and there are many out here waiting for you.  Last but not least, don’t quit because someone is not supporting you or like your work. Success is what you make it, and you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you.

What do you think makes a good story?

Good character development and the flow of the book. In order for the reader to enjoy the book, you have to give them something to enjoy.

If you had the opportunity to live anywhere in the world for a year while writing a book that took place in that same setting, where would you choose?

I would love to write a mystery thriller in Bora Bora. It’s so beautiful, you could never imagine something crazy happening.

What has influenced you the most as a writer?

Understanding who I am as a writer, and being able to face my reality through my books.

Do you feel like it’s most important to have A) Strong characters B) Mind blowing plot twists or C) Epic settings?

I feel it’s most important to have mind blowing plot twists. In order to capture your reader you have to be able to keep their attention. Without a great plot you don’t have a book or a story.

How do you come up with the names for your characters?

The characters actually tell me who they are and what they want to do. I am only the typist.

What was the hardest part of writing your author bio?

Keeping it short. When you do so many things, it’s hard not to put everything in it.

Besides writing what other ventures do you have, tell us about them?

I am a motivational speaker, life coach, and the CEO of Fast Life On the Move Radio on Blogtalk Radio.
